The book is devoted to the ecological aspects of the ancient history of Western Siberia, which led to the socio-economic adaptation of ancient collectives to different environmental conditions. The work is largely methodological in nature. It tests new ways of historical understanding of archaeological material, justifies the need for an ecological approach in archaeological research.
