The book is devoted to the history of the implementation of peasant reform on February 19, 1861 in St. Petersburg district. Complex, sometimes contradictory socio-economic processes that took place during the liberation of St. Petersburg peasants in each of the landowner estates of the county are covered. The structure of allotments and payments of various categories of landowner peasants and the degree of its transformation during the reform, economic zoning, climatic conditions are considered.
