Frederick the Great (1712-1786) - King of Prussia since May 31, 1740. A bright representative of enlightened absolutism and one of the founders of Prussian-German statehood. F.A. Koni's book "Frederick the Great" is the only work on the Prussian king created in Russia, which is a revised and supplemented translation of F. Kugler's "History of Frederick II."
