Popular Science Physics and Mathematics Journal. Published since January 1970. The idea of ​ ​ creating a magazine was expressed by P. L. Kapitsa in 1964, and she found grateful ground among enthusiasts who in those years were organizing physical and mathematical boarding schools at major universities, all-Union Olympiads, summer schools (and even time was filled with hope and universal passion for science). The journal was headed by two outstanding scientists - I.K. Kikoin and A.N. Kolmogorov. So the world's first scientific journal for schoolchildren was created, designed for the general reader.
