The data available in the scientific literature necessary for the development of high-performance methods for the production of wear-resistant and anti-corrosion decorative coatings based on aluminum and titanium alloys by the method of plasma-electrolytic processing (PEO), as well as technological modes for their production by the method of PEO on these alloys, are presented.
