Anastas Ivanovich Mikoyan held senior positions in the Soviet leadership. Under Stalin, he was People's Commissar of Supply, People's Commissar of the Food Industry, People's Commissar of Foreign Trade, Deputy Chairman of the Council of People's Commissars.
