The basics of geoecological knowledge are presented, the importance of an interdisciplinary scientific direction is shown, studying the interconnected and interdependent geospheres in close integration with the social sphere. The natural and socio-economic consequences of changing geospheres under the influence of an anthropogenic factor are highlighted.
