The diary and memoirs of Y.V. Glinka (1870-1950) are published for the first time. Their author played an important role in the activities of the State Duma at the beginning of the 20th century, in fact heading its working apparatus - the Duma chancellery. In the book, the reader will find vivid portraits of leading political figures of the era, expressive descriptions of the daily life of the Tauride Palace, details of what was happening on the sidelines of the Duma, into which Y.V. Glinka, the closest employee of its chairmen, was dedicated like none of his contemporaries.
