It includes the artist's correspondence with his brother Theo, which was maintained almost daily for 1872 - 1890, with the Dutch artist Anton Van Rappard - in 1881 - 1885, with the French painter Emile Bernard - in 1887 - 1889, with the younger sister Villemina - in 1887-1890. and some other persons, among whom the outstanding French painter Paul Gauguin should be put in first place.
