Monograph by G.P. Kozubovskaya "Mythopoetics of Russian literature: genre and motive" continues the study of Russian literature outlined in previous editions: "Russian literature: myth and mythopoetics" (2006), "Mid-19th century: myth and mythopoetics" (2008), "Turn of the XIX-XX centuries: myth and mythopoetics" (2011). The monograph examines the mechanisms of text generation in some genres (ballad and ekphrasis), the transformation of archetypal plots, semantics and functions of motives of Russian literature of the 19th century - from K.N. Batyushkov to A.P. Chekhov.
