The book includes articles devoted mainly to a general topic and problem: they reveal the semantic specifics of the work of Old Russian writers with word and text. The researcher consistently seeks to understand and describe the features and nature of narrative details, speech tropeization and structural construction characteristic of one or another literary monument of Ancient Russia as reflexes of semantic author's attitudes and as a reflection of certain literary traditions.
