The paper examines the basic concepts of international law (international law as a legal system, principles and norms of international law, the relationship between international and domestic law). Issues covering a set of concepts and problems relating to subjects of international law, including issues relating to the population and state territory, are further covered. The monograph concludes with a study of the problems of international legal coercion, including the responsibility of subjects of international law.
