A murderous warlock is loose in an American city and the police can't find him, so they turn to a private eye with experience in crimes involving paranormal phenomena. The search for the magic man intensifies with the arrival of fallen angels, intent on making the city their headquarters. Then a battle between angels descends on the Earth, tearing open the veil concealing the spiritual from the physical worlds. This story is a kind of sequel to Harry's Archangel but can be read as a stand-alone novel.
