This monograph is dedicated to the phenomenon of cultural memory. The most significant theoretical and methodological approaches to its interpretation are considered in the work, as well as the author's understanding of its specifics, essential boundaries, structural and functional model is proposed. Particular attention is paid to the forms of objectification of cultural memory and the applied aspects of their study. The reader's attention is offered the methodology developed by the author for studying commemorative practices (using the example of street names, opening memorial plaques, erecting memorial monuments) and everyday ideas about the past and the results of its approbation.
