The collection of recipes for meals for schoolchildren was developed by the Main Directorate of Public Catering of the Ministry of Trade of the Ukrainian SSR together with the Kyiv Research Institute of Food Hygiene of the Ministry of Health of the Ukrainian SSR, the combined sanitary and technological food laboratories of the region (mountains) of public catering departments and practical workers of the industry. The collection is the main document in organizing meals for students of secondary schools. The collection takes into account the nutritional characteristics of children.
