The album presents 82 field cultures of the USSR. Among them there are more important ones, such as cereals (wheat, rye, barley, oats, millet, corn), potatoes, sugar and fodder beets, peas, soybeans, lupine, cotton, flax, clover, alfalfa and others. The number of plant species cultivated on the globe exceeds 20 thousand, and it is necessary to continue work on the introduction of new useful species.
