The monograph is devoted to the history of the stay in the Siberian exile of the Decembrists, who left a deep mark in the memory of the Siberians. This topic has already been covered in sufficient detail in historical and local history literature, but there are still many "white spots" and discrepancies that are partly touched upon in this monograph. The first chapter is devoted to the historiography of the problem, the second examines the entrepreneurial activity of the Decembrists, the third chapter is devoted to the lifestyle of the Decembrists in Siberia. Of great interest may be the application, which contains the personal characteristics of most Decembrists and their portraits. The monograph is intended for teachers and students of different universities in Siberia, for all interested in Russian history.
