This special course is intended for students of linguistic universities and faculties studying Spanish. It contains a brief overview of the theories of the species, an analysis of the basic categories of aspectuality, a description of the linguistic means of expressing aspectual meanings in Spanish. This course will help students get acquainted with the basic provisions of modern aspectology and take a fresh look at the system of personal forms of the Spanish verb.
