The monograph examines the specifics of the emergence, mechanisms of power and the collapse of the political regime built by the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych. With the help of a huge array of official documents, memoirs, interviews, publications, and the media, the political career of the fourth "guarantor of the Constitution" and his relationship with other representatives of the Donetsk clan are revealed. Particular attention is paid to the phenomenon of "Family" and its transformation into a center for generating solutions in the country. The internal contradictions of the regime created by Yanukovych and the combination of factors that led to his fall were analyzed in detail.
