The book of the German historian E. Klug is devoted to the history of the Tver Grand Duchy of the XIII-XV centuries. Based on the materials of almost all written sources and studies, the author examines in detail the most important issues of the political history of medieval Tver. This book is the only monographic study of ancient Tver over the past 100 years since the release of the famous work of V.S. Borzakovsky "History of the Tver Principality."
