With the warriors of the Netherwolf Tribe defeated and Redfox Village in ruins, Nolan and his companions flee into the forests that hug the far reaches of the Northern Plains region, intent on making their way to the kingdom of Verdure where they hope to start a new life far from the influence of those that sought to harm them. Little do they know, they have shaken the hive of a deadly swarm of cultivators that appear hell-bent on tracking them down and exacting vengeance upon Nolan for the mysterious boys that he killed back in the village. As he struggles to understand adapt to this new world, the mystery that surrounds the strange ring within his chest slowly begins to unravel.
