The collection for the first time introduces into scientific circulation the documents of the RGVIA, GARF and RGIA, covering poorly studied aspects of the political history of Russia on the eve and during the First World War. They are associated with the resignation of the Minister of War V.A. Sukhomlinov and his trial. The collection consists of two parts. The first of them highlights the mechanism of the propaganda campaign that led to the resignation of V.A. Sukhomlinov and his arrest. The second part presents the materials of the trial of V.A. Sukhomlinov in 1917.
