The book tells about the life and work of Wilhelm Habsburg-Lotringen, who was a representative of one of the most famous monarchical dynasties in Europe. V. Habsburg, whom the Ukrainian military named Vasily Vyshivan, closely linked his fate with the Ukrainian liberation movement, for which he paid with his own life, which tragically ended in the prison hospital of the Lukyanovskaya prison in Kyiv. The documentary materials of the Habsburg investigation, his memoirs, poetry and a sample of prose make it possible to better understand this striking figure of the Ukrainian national revival of the first half of the 20th century.
