History of the design, construction and service of the squadron battleship Sisoy the Great - the fifth armored ship built for the Baltic Fleet under the 1881 program. The design of "Sisoy the Great" took place at a time when the main directions of development of the domestic fleet were determined. It was with the commissioning of Sisoy the Great that the type of Russian squadron battleship was finally established. The ship's service ended on one of the most tragic days of the Russian fleet - May 15, 1905 in the battle of Tsushima Island.
