The book is devoted to the application of modern mathematical methods in the design of flexible production systems (GPS). Dynamic and structural models of GPS are considered, for the formation and research of which such areas of mathematics as algebraic and differential geometry, topology, polynomial algebra, and the theory of extreme problems are involved.
