Dotsenko Alexander (1897-1941) - military leader, historian, archaeographer. Born in the Poltava province. He graduated from the Velikosorochinsky teacher's seminary (1915) and the Vilnius Military School in Poltava. During the Ukrainian revolution of 1917-1921. - Lieutenant Colonel of the Army of the Ukrainian People's Republic (1919-20), served as an esaul (senior adjutant of the Chief Ataman S. Petlyura, had at his disposal a lot of documents - letters, protocols and the like.
