Collection of documentary materials on the history of Ukraine of the 16th-18th centuries, published by the Archaeographic Commission of the Shevchenko Scientific Society in Lviv (11 vols., 1895-1924). In "Zherely" lustrations (descriptions) and inventories of western Ukrainian lands of 1564-1566 and 1570 were published; description of royal and gentry estates in Galicia, documentary materials and annals of the national liberation war of 1648 - 1654, documents on the history of the Cossacks for 1531-1632 and 1648 - 1657, Vatican materials on the history of Ukraine 1648-1657, diary of the general podskarbia A.M. Arkovich for 1735 - 1740 All documents are printed in the language of the originals while maintaining linguistic features. Some of the documents were submitted with abbreviations. Most volumes have solid prefaces, nominal and geographical indexes.
