Father Alexander, the abbot of the Monastery of the Transfiguration of the Lord, gained the glory of the righteous and miracle worker during his lifetime. Unfortunately, his earthly course was coming to an end. Church hierarchs and monastic brethren gathered at the bedside of the dying man. Everyone wanted to give the last honors to their beloved father. There was no doubt that his soul would go straight to paradise, where he would find eternal bliss. And now it happened. Whispering: "Maria, I am so glad to see you," Father Alexander moved to another world. But what is it? Why, instead of a shining tunnel, does it fly through some kind of concrete pipe? And at the end, her father is not waiting for golden-haired angels, but for the police of the angel service. Where is the Garden of Eden and wondrous chants? Instead of heavenly chickens, Father Alexander is taken to the police station and charged with the sin of appropriating works created by the Lord himself. Batyushka will have to answer before the court of his own soul, but for now he is sent to a cell, where several of the same sufferers as he expect their fate.
