The book is dedicated to the fate of white emigration in China and Mongolia. Much attention is paid to the tragic fate of such heroes of the White movement as generals A.S. Bakich, A.I. Dutov, R.F. Ungern-Sternberg and B.V. Annenkov. The almost 20-year history of the Shanghai Russian Regiment and its officers is described in detail.
