The main objective of the exposition "Such a different twentieth century" was to show the development of fine art in the central part of Russia in the II half of the twentieth century, the difference in works of all types and genres in different decades. All the works featured in the exhibition convey the atmosphere of their time, starting in the 1950s. A small part of the works was made already in the XXI century, which makes it possible for the viewer to compare the art of the last century with the beginning of the current one, to reveal the features of similarities and differences, common values ​ ​ and changes in the human attitude.
