The textbook is a summary of the Fractal Geometry course taught to third-year undergraduate students. The course is devoted to systems of iterated transformations and the concept of a deterministic attractor. The textbook outlines basic concepts, basic definitions and theorems. Proofs of basic theorems are given. The concept of a dynamic system on an attractor is introduced and algorithms for constructing deterministic fractals using both deterministic and stochastic algorithms are given. The presentation of the course is completed by acquaintance with the concept of fractal dimension and various methods for calculating it. Exercises are provided at the end of each chapter. Numerous examples complement the presentation.
