The book gives brief characteristics of the natural conditions of all specially protected areas of republican significance in Belarus, the goals of allocating each object, the occupied area and location relative to administrative borders, protected species of animals and plants. The possibility of using protected areas for the purposes of ecological tourism is indicated. The book contains 1211 illustrations, including 90 maps.
