Anthology "J. Boccaccio: Pro et Contra" displays the reception of the personality and work of Giovanni Boccaccio in Russia. Representatives of almost all literary schools and trends showed interest in the creator of the new genre of household novels in Russia. The book contains works by such authors as A. N. Veselovsky, M. S. Korelin, V. B. Shklovsky, A. F. Losev and others. The anthology presents the reader with a broad picture of the perception by Russian scientists and writers of the work of the outstanding Italian writer of the Renaissance from the 19th century to our time.
