The proposed course of lectures is devoted to the analysis of various methodological approaches in modern historical science. The positivist, neo-Kantian, Marxist, structuralist and postmodern methods of writing history are characterized. The processes of mathematics and computerization, new technologies of historical creativity are reflected. Particular attention is paid to an interdisciplinary approach, problems of historical narrative.
