The book of Doctor of Art History, full member of the Russian Academy of Arts T.P. Kaptereva is a collection of selected works created by the author over the years of work at the Research Institute of Theory and History of Fine Arts. In addition to the materials first published in Russian on the art of the countries of North Africa and the Iberian Peninsula, the book contains chapters devoted to the unique artistic phenomena of this region that arose as a result of the interaction of local and externally introduced traditions.
