"Thoughts" is the unfinished work of the great French scientist and philosopher of the 17th century Blaise Pascal. This composition, despite its fragmentation, belongs to the highest achievements of the human spirit. It contains the deepest and at the same time the most piercing reflections on God and human nature, on the purpose of life and the meaning of death. This edition also includes texts by Pascal himself and his relatives, one way or another related to Thoughts. The translation of "Thoughts" is made from the publication, which is considered to this day the most scientifically reliable; this edition, unlike others, does not offer its own classification of the Pascal text (which makes it easier to read, but inevitably imposes its own interpretation), but follows the order in which these notes were found after the death of the author.
