Calculation methods for determination of transfer coefficients (diffusion, heat and electric conductivity, modulus of elasticity, etc.) in heterogeneous media (composite, granular and fibrous materials, ceramic and bound materials, oil-water and gas-saturated soils, materials with different phase states) are considered. Comparison of design and experimental data is given for efficient heat exchangers, thermal insulation operating at low and high temperatures. For scientific and engineering workers, it can be useful for university students.
