The monograph is devoted to the history of diplomacy of the Kazakh Khanate (XVIII-XIX centuries). Through the biography of three generations of Kazakh rulers, their diplomacy has been revealed for two centuries. Against the complex background of international relations, their tireless efforts to preserve the Kazakh statehood, territorial integrity and national unity are shown, but mostly after the abolition of the Khanate by Russia. At the same time, adjustments are made to the biographies of famous political figures, new names and new pages of history are opened. Much attention is paid to the role of batyrs and other elders in the diplomatic activities of the khanate. Archival materials and documents of Russia, China, Taiwan (for the first time in Kazakh historiography), as well as Kazakh historical traditions and pedigrees - shezhire are involved.
