The collection was prepared by teams of scientists of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) and the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts within the framework of the joint project "Russia and Macedonia: a comparative analysis of political life, history and culture," as well as the project "The Balkan crisis of the 90s of the twentieth century in documents" of the Center for the Study of the Modern Balkan Crisis of the Institute of Slavic Studies and Balkan Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the research part of which was partially funded by the Russian Humanitarian Scientific Foundation. The collection includes documents characterizing the economic, political formation of the state, its foreign policy development in the system of international relations.
