The theme of the book is the armament of the peoples living in Siberia. The story of weapons covers a huge time interval - from the Stone Age to the Middle Ages. An integrated approach to the problem allowed the author, having heard the dialogue of various cultures, to trace the continuity in the development of weapons and give a voluminous picture of the life of Siberians, including their life, art, a system of religious ideas and cult practice. Detailed reconstructions of ancient warriors, made on the basis of the richest archaeological material, help to make this picture more visible.
