In the semi-deserts and deserts of the West Kazakhstan region and its environs (Republic of Kazakhstan), the spatial structure of mammal communities has been studied: species composition, species richness, species ratio, dominance structure, patterns of spatial placement of communities of different ranks. The dynamics of communities over time on the material of more than 70-year gatherings of zoologists of the Ural anti-plague station is considered. The structure and dynamics of communities of mammals and other animals such as "parasite - host," "predator - victim," "consortia" have been studied. For zoologists, ecologists, zoogeographers, specialists in medical zoology and nature conservation, teachers, graduate students and students of biological specialties.
