The book outlines the basic principles of hologram formation and properties. Peculiarities of image recovery by holograms under various construction conditions are considered. Resolution and information capacity of holograms are determined. The effect of nonlinear properties of indicators used to record holograms on the quality of images reconstructed therefrom was evaluated. Properties of quantized, discrete, discrete-quantized and mosaic holograms and peculiarities of obtaining images from them are considered. The resolution is determined and the effect of quantization and sampling intervals on the image structure is evaluated. Principles and peculiarities of radio hologram construction using plane and linear antenna arrays and antennas with "point" aperture are considered. Relationships are given for determining parameters of images reconstructed by radio holograms under different conditions of their formation.
