Principles of operation, methods of calculation and issues of optimization of modes of individual stages of modern radio transmitting devices of radio, microwave and optical ranges in which various active elements of transistors, lamps, varactors, klystrons, magnetrons, traveling wave lamps, solid-state microwave devices and quantum generators are used. Methods of controlling oscillations in order to generate a radio signal with given parameters are considered.
