This is the first monograph in the world literature on the theory of bound thermoelasticity. Thermoelasticity is a new field of mechanics, generalizing into a single whole two previously independent disciplines - the theory of elasticity and the theory of thermal conductivity. The book provides a conclusion of the basic equations of thermoelasticity, sets out methods for solving them, and also formulated the main energy and variation theorems.
