Up above are the Kyries, fortress skyscrapers inhabited by the fabulous and accomplished. The rusted city below overflows with the ordinary, "come to live in the shadow of such brilliance." Acsey Mullay chases romance in the towers above, and the first step is a haircut. This small change invites danger, but she welcomes the risk.
