This guide to artillery ammunition of the former German army is the second edition of the significantly supplemented and carefully revised guide "Captured Ammunition," published in 1943 by the Main Artillery Directorate of the Red Army. In compiling this handbook, data obtained from the study of captured ammunition during the war and information borrowed from various captured documents were used.
