The book very succinctly addresses the most important issues of the modern theory of equations and systems of equations of elliptic and hyperbolic type. The presentation is based on a functional-analytical approach, which makes it possible to very clearly distinguish the fundamental foundations of the theory; in particular, the theory of operators in Hilbert space is widely used.
