This is the first work of this kind in Soviet folklore. It is based on reliable records selected taking into account their diversity. Systematization was carried out according to topics, parallel forms (double plots), plot types and their contamination, versions and variants. The index is deliberately given the character of an open system of plots and versions located in an evolutionary sequence. Intended for philologists, ethnographers.
