In 1862, a monument to the 1000th anniversary of Russia, a state created by the Russian People, was erected in Veliky Novgorod. But the Russian People themselves are much older. The Rus tribe, from which it grew, originated in 278 according to R. Chr. in the city of Krapine in present-day Croatia. We know its history only from 862. The previous 600-year period of the life of the Russian People from 278 to 862, as well as its origin, has not yet been clarified. This very courageous gap in Russian History to some extent fills the proposed work.
