The book provides justifications for the need to create domestic anti-mine ships (PMK), the specifics of their design and construction, as well as the experience of operation and combat use for the period 1910- 1990. All information is divided into chapters corresponding to the stages of the country's history, and within the chapters - on consistently adopted shipbuilding programs. All ships ever sailing under the domestic flag, built at domestic shipyards and abroad by order of the Navy, converted from civilian ships, leased and purchased from allies, captured and received by reparations, and also intended for export are considered.
